Zombies come down the street at the top and walk straight down their lane towards your house. Stop them before they reach the porch.
Tap sun as it falls on the grass to collect it. Spend it on the seed packets on the left: tap a packet, then a square of lawn, or drag the packet onto the lawn. Each packet needs a moment to grow back after planting. Sunflowers make more sun, so plant them early.
The shovel digs a plant back up to make room.
Lawn mowers are your last resort. When a zombie reaches the porch, a mower roars up its lane and flattens everything in it. Without a mower left, the zombies get in. You start with one and earn another for every wave you clear, up to three. You can also send one yourself: tap the mower button in the top-right corner, then a lane.
With a keyboard: 1–6 pick a plant, S the shovel, arrow keys move around the lawn, Enter plants, C collects all sun, L then 1–5 sends a mower, P pauses and M opens this menu.
